My name is Jacob Stalk, I am a Board Member of Share Village Las Vegas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the elimination of homelessness, poverty, and hunger in the United States. We provide affordable housing for over 500 veterans and families nightly with both transitional and permanent affordable rental housing. I am an Undergraduate Student studying majors of Real Estate, Political Science, and Finance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I heavily involve myself with the Las Vegas community to better understand and learn how our society can solve critical issues such as homelessness and how I can contribute as a future philanthropist and placemaker for our community.
I am a member of the Latin Chamber of Commerce Nevada Inc., Urban Land Institute (ULI), Downtown Vegas Alliance, the Vegas Chamber, and Hispanics in Politics. I heavily involve myself with the community to better understand and learn how our society can solve critical issues such as homelessness.
My educational journey will fuel the pursuit of my passion of becoming a leader in my community, leading the charge for how our society can transform the built environment, especially in the areas where our most vulnerable community members need the utmost help.
