Stephen Dull

Stephen Dull, ’03 BS Secondary Education, was named an Indiana Teach Plus Policy Fellow for the 2022-2023 school year. He is part of a cohort of 12 teachers statewide who will write, research, and advocate for education policy with members of the state legislature.

Thomas (Tom) Cahill, ’06 MS Special Education, retired in May 2022 as an intervention specialist in the math department at Tiffin City Schools in Tiffin, Ohio. Tom enjoys farming, camping, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren

Matt Engle

Matt Engle, ’91 BS Business Management, was recently named vice president of Insurance Office of America (IOA), voted in as a shareholder, and his Las Vegas’ branch was awarded the "Small Branch of the Year." IOA has 60 insurance offices across the U.S. and U.K.

Lee R. Hocking

Lee R. Hocking, '97 BA Communication Studies, is a specialty courts prosecutor in the Appeals and Post-Conviction Proceedings Bureau at the Maricopa County attorney's office in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a career attorney in Arizona government whose prior work includes service at the Arizona Attorney General's Office as an assistant attorney general in the Child and Family Protection/Child Support Enforcement Division and elsewhere as a felony narcotics prosecutor and as a municipal law attorney. He lives in the Valley of the Sun.

Penelope LePome

Penelope LePome, '84 MS Educational Psychology, retired from work at community colleges and social service agencies. She recently completed a three-week artist residency in Orquevaux, France, alongside artists of various medium from the United States, Mexico, and Ecuador. “It was a dream come true. It was a wonderful experience for artistic growth! I encourage anyone who is interested to apply.” LePome enjoys gardening, reading, quilting, painting, and ceramics. She volunteers extensively in her community.

Jason Dittenber

Jason Dittenber, '16 BS Business Administration, joined ABI Multifamily, a firm that focuses exclusively on apartment investment transactions, as the senior vice president and designated broker of the Las Vegas office. A lifelong resident of Nevada, Dittenber moved to Las Vegas from the Carson City/Reno/Lake Tahoe area in 2010. Prior to joining ABI, Dittenber was involved in multifamily sales in excess of $300,000,000 and 4,600 total units over a seven-year period. When he’s not brokering multifamily deals, Dittenber enjoys spending quality dad time with his seven-year-old daughter and cheering on the Raiders and Golden Knights.

Cheryl Lyons

Cheryl L. Lyons, '93 BA Sociology, earned her Doctor of Education in higher education and student affairs from Ohio State University (OSU) on May 8, 2022. Lyons discovered her passion for working with college students serving as a resident assistant at UNLV during her undergraduate career. She currently serves as the director of disability services at OSU. 

Jordan Hollander

Jordan Hollander, '16 LLM Gaming Law and Regulation, was promoted to the position of assistant section chief, Casino Licensing Bureau at the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. He was also recently named as an inaugural member of the Emerging Leaders of Gaming (ELG) alumni advisory board, a leadership development program organized by The Innovation Group. Hollander was selected as an ELG 40 Under 40 honoree for 2018-2019.

Jenn Oshiro Rivers

Jenn Oshiro Rivers, ’05 BS Hospitality Management and ’08 M.Ed. Educational Leadership, is now the alumni engagement and event manager for the UNLV College of Education. She supports the dean and various departmental efforts that engage with the college’s 23,000 alumni across the globe. She also works with the education chapter of the UNLV Alumni Association and serves as the president of the hospitality chapter, where she was able to assist with Rebels Restaurant Week, which supported alumni-owned businesses and collected donations for UNLV Food Pantry. She also serves as the chair of the Chapters and Clubs Committee of the Alumni Situation. At home, she enjoys to garden and, along with her husband, is a craft beer aficionado.
