Rebelmail is your student email account and the university’s official means of communicating with you. Activate your account as soon as possible so you don’t miss out on important information about deadlines, major campus events, and announcements.

Monitor your To Do List and Communication Center in MyUNLV regularly throughout your enrollment process as well as throughout your studies at UNLV to receive important notifications. MyUNLV allows you to manage everything including registering for classes, checking your grades, and paying your tuition and fees.

College Transcript(s) – If you have taken or are taking college-level coursework since last attending UNLV, submit all official college transcripts in order to receive transfer credit and to be placed in appropriate UNLV courses. Submit these transcripts prior to registering for classes.
ACT/SAT Scores – If you have not yet submitted your official ACT/SAT test scores, submit these immediately. Scores can be used for class placement as applicable.

We encourage all students to apply for financial aid and scholarships by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. When you complete your FAFSA you are also automatically considered for institutional scholarships. You may also check with your academic college for additional scholarship opportunities.
The FAFSA becomes available Oct. 1. Priority consideration for financial aid and scholarships will be given to those who submit a completed FAFSA by Nov. 15. You may apply after Nov. 15; however, funding may be limited.

Returning students must meet with an academic advisor from the Academic Success Center or work with the center to move into another college of study.

Information about the courses you have transferred to UNLV will appear in your Transfer Credit Report. Coursework will only be officially evaluated after your official transcripts from each institution attended have been received by the Office of Admissions.  View your report by logging in to MyUNLV and navigating to the Student Center dashboard. The report is in the drop-down menu of the Academics section.

Nevada high school graduates are automatically considered in-state residents for tuition purposes. If you did not graduate from a Nevada high school and believe you qualify for in-state residency, review the residency application as soon as possible to determine your eligibility and apply with required documentation. If you were previously reclassified as a Nevada resident for tuition purposes but it has been more than a year since you attended UNLV, you must also review the residency application to determine your eligibility and apply with required documentation.

All enrolled students who attend classes on campus must provide documentation of immunizations. We recommend you submit these as soon as possible to prevent possible registration holds on your account. Some immunizations do expire, so you may be required to submit updated immunization records. Find out what's required and where to submit your proof of immunizations.

Make the most of your college experience by living on campus. Learn more about your housing and dining choices. The priority deadline for residence hall applications is June 1.
