Superhero Sprint 5K/3K
When: Apr. 28, 2012, 8am - 2pmOffice/Remote Location: Sunset Park
The Superhero Sprint is a 5K and 3K race that will take place at Sunset Park with check in starting at 8 a.m. and the race starting at 9 a.m. All proceeds will benefit the Jump For Joy Foundation (www.j4jf.org). The 5k is for the people who want to run a competitive 5k race and be timed. The first three to finish the race will receive medals as awards. The 3k race is meant for people who don't like running as much but still want to help a good cause.
All participants will be encouraged to wear their favorite superhero costume and bring water guns to fend off the "villains" with water balloons hidden along the course.
