  A Busy Man

  Bo Bernhard has been named as the executive director of the UNLV International Gaming Institute, his recent research on the brain trust of gaming information that is Las Vegas is making headlines, and he was just awarded one of the 2012 Barrick Scholar Awards.

  Award Winner

  Yun Ying Zhong, a first-year Ph.D. student in the Harrah Hotel College, won the best paper award at the 17th Annual Graduate Student Research Conference in Hospitality and Tourism. The paper focused on the application of technology to hospitality management and marketing and was related to her thesis, completed at the University of Central Florida.

  Student Bistro Featured on Hit TV Show

  Some guys just can’t get enough of UNLV! Chef Guy Fieri visits his roots in the Stan Fulton Building for filming an episode of his popular television show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Chef John Gremo and students will be featured. The show premieres June 4, 2012 on the Food Network at 7 p.m. (PST).
