Labyrinths have a single path leading to the central goal and are thought to be more than 5,000 years old. They are found throughout the world and have been used in schools, hospitals, office complexes, and public parks. Following the pattern of the labyrinth can be used for stress relief, reflection, and enjoyment.

The UNLV Campus Labyrinth was made possible by a generous gift from an anonymous donor. Students from the Landscape Architecture program, in conjunction with J.W. Zunino Landscape Architecture helped to create the design. Thank you to the students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents/families, and community members who provided feedback on the initial designs. The Campus Labyrinth is now open for all to enjoy. It is located off of University Road near the Upper Class Complex (UCC) Residence Halls.
