We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (e.g., profile information) or allows us to contact you. Such information may be requested, for example, when you register for an event; give a gift; update your profile, passwords and official records; register for a service; or access functionality that is specifically programmed for degree holders. Your profile information may be used for the following purposes:

• To make the site easier for you to learn of events or activities
• To help you quickly access services or information on our website
• To help us create content relevant to you
• To alert you to site updates, new features, and related benefits and offers

Your profile information will be used for communications by UNLV. From time-to-time, UNLV utilizes approved and affiliated partners for communications. We respect your privacy and will never rent, sell, exchange, or otherwise share this information with nonaffiliated third parties.

Profile Information

If you choose not to provide profile information, you will still be able to access content. However, you will not be able to access areas or resources that require profile information.

If you create an account and profile, you will be able to select the information you wish to receive from UNLV in the future. You also will be able to select the profile information you want to be made available to others via the alumni directory and other online communities.

Profile Updates

We provide you with the means to ensure that your profile information is correct and current. You may review and update this information at any time on the UNLV Alumni mobile app. There, you can view and edit the information you have already given us.

Security

We protect the security of your profile information and honor your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction.

When you login on the UNLV Alumni mobile app, you will be asked for an email address and your name to authenticate for security purposes. Your login also allows access to member-only sections of the mobile app.
